Homemade Foot Scrubs

If you don’t love your feet, you should. Think about what the poor critters have to put up with every day. You put all your weight on them as you walk around doing your daily chores. You pound them hard against concrete walks as you jog.

You squeeze them so tight in your shoes that if they were cats they would howl. They just keep holding you up and carrying you from place to place. The least you can do is provide them with a couple of good homemade foot scrubs to show your appreciation.

So what are good homemade scrubs?

In my opinion, good foot scrubs are those that exfoliate my feet with gentle loving care with emphasis on gentle. The goal is to remove the dead skin cells from my feet, not the living ones. I use one of two homemade foot scrubs and my feet tell me they love them both. One is made with Dead Sea salt and the other is made with ground oats. I also use a pumice stone for any areas on my feet that are beginning to form a callus.

Stir the frankincense essential oil to the jojoba oil to mix the two oils well. Add oil blend to the Dead Sea salt and mix.

Stir the eucalyptus oil into the jojoba oil. Add oil blend to the oats and mix well.

How I use my homemade foot scrubs

I think we should have an international foot recognition day. A time when we recognize our feet and the work they do for us every day. It should be a time when homemade foot scrubs are being created across the globe and foot spa parties abound. Some people may think I have a foot fetish, but that wouldn’t be true. I just recognize a good thing when I have it.

Now go have fun and relax.
