Super Easy Homemade Deodorant Recipe

A homemade deodorant recipe is the way to go if you want to avoid the risks associated with such additives as aluminum.

Using a homemade deodorant won’t prevent you from perspiring, but will keep you smelling wonderful all day.

If you perspire heavily you can protect your clothing with underarm shields. That is a much better and healthier option than using antiperspirants. Our bodies are meant to perspire. It’s one way our bodies eliminate waste products. However, and happily, we don’t have to smell bad.

This homemade deodorant recipe is very easy and quick to make. Give it a try. I’ve included in this post a couple of recipes to try.

Super easy and effective homemade deodorant recipe

Stick deodorant for women

Ingredients:

3 tbsp yellow beeswax
1 tbsp cocoa butter
2 tablespoons coconut oil

30 drops rosemary essential oil

Stick deodorant for men

Ingredients:

3 tbsp yellow beeswax
1 tbsp cocoa butter
2 tablespoons coconut oil
30 drops rosemary essential oil
30 drops cypress essential oil

Instructions for both of the above recipes:

Melt beeswax in microwave until just melted then stir in cocoa butter until it melts. (Be careful to not overheat the beeswax.) Gently stir in oils. Now you’re ready to pour your homemade deodorant into a used roll up stick deodorant casing. (CPS Container and Packaging Supply has empty deodorant containers) Let deodorant harden in a cool place.

Super fast and easy homemade deodorant recipe

Simply mix your essential oils into vodka and add to spray bottle. Voila’ a homemade deodorant. Here’s the recipe:

For him

Mix the water and vodka in a jar, add the oils and shake (gently please). Pour 1/8 cup into a spray bottle for immediate use. Cap off the balance of your deodorant and store in a cool dark place until you need more.

There now with these recipes you can have a healthy homemade deodorant that will keep you smelling nice all day. I hope you enjoy them. There are other essential oils you can substitute for those I recommend such as anise seed oil, geranium oil, sandalwood, sage and coriander. However, some should be used with a degree of caution so if you substitute, read the precautions.
