My favorite recipe, but you won’t find it in the kitchen

My favorite homemade conditioner recipe is made with Camellia seed oil. Give it a try; I think you will fall in love with it too. Oh, by the way, it’s an absolutely divine oil to use on your skin as well, regardless of your skin type. I also love it because of Camellia oil’s penetrative capability into skin tissue. As it penetrates cells, it stimulates the growth of hair follicles, promotes healthy hair growth and in some cases restores hair loss.

There are several ways to create a homemade hair conditioner with Camellia seed oil. You can apply a few drops of the oil to the palms of your hands and starting from the ends, work the oil upwards toward your scalp. Then gently message what remains on your hands into your scalp.

You can also add two or three drops of lavender oil to 4 ounces of Camellia oil then add to a misting bottle. After washing your hair, towel dry and lightly spray. Work gently into scalp with fingertips. Don’t overdo. A light spray is all you need. Store your mix in a cool dry place ready to perform its miracles the next time you wash your hair.

Camellia oil can also be added to dry hair between washings if needed. I love this stuff. You’re going to be hearing a lot more about Camellia oil in the future, but for right now it’s time for you to create your own homemade hair conditioner and report back here how it works for you.

Now go have fun and relax.
