Hair Loss Recipe That Works

You look in the mirror and discover your hair is falling out in patches. You have what is known as alopecia areata, a fancy term for spot hair loss. There are a number of causes for this including stress and some medications.

However, regardless of the cause, you want your hair back. Good news, there is a hair loss recipe that works to get those locks growing back where they belong.

This isn’t a bunch of hype, this recipe is based on a double-blind study done at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland and published in 1998. If you’re interested in more of the details, you can read it for yourself at Basically, it says that of the 43 subjects receiving this recipe 44% showed improvement in hair growth compared to only 15% of the control group.

Ingredients in hair loss recipe:

3 drops lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) essential oil

3 drops rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) essential oil

2 drops thyme (Thyme vulgaris) essential oil

2 drops cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) essential oil

3 ml jojoba oil

20 ml grapeseed oil

Instructions for hair loss recipe:

Mix the grapeseed and jojoba oil in a small jar. To that add the essential oils and stir to blend.

How to use this hair loss recipe:

Each night massage the mixture into your scalp for 2 minutes then wrap a warm towel around your head to increase absorption. You’ll need to be patient. The trial lasted for 7 months.

It’s important to know that some of the test subjects showed no improvement, however one patient with severe alopecia areata grew all of his hair back. Patients self administered the treatment, so they may or may not have been following the researcher’s instructions properly. If patients didn’t follow the researcher’s instructions, it may have caused the test results to turn out not as favorable as they might have.

I found it interesting that patients who were in the control group and used only the grapeseed and jojoba oils still had some positive results (15%).  However, it is obvious that the essential oils were the major factor in having a positive impact on hair growth. That should give any of our goddesses with this condition a plan of action.

The researchers’ conclusion was as follows:

Therefore, this aromatherapy trial, with an improvement rate of 44%, is comparable to and possibly of more benefit than trials of conventional therapies for alopecia areat. Compared with these other treatments, its safety is also greater, offering a better therapeutic ratio.

Now go have fun and relax.

    1. Hi Shalna,

That depends on the reason for your hair loss. It might be a good idea to see your doctor and try and find the reason. At least, that’s what I would do if I was concerned about losing my hair.
