How to Make Cleopatra’s Bath Tea

A bath tea is a super simple, highly effective way to treat your psyche and your skin the way they deserve.

Cleopatra, the seductress of high rankingRoman men used a milk bath. That’s a good place to start, don’t you think?

What you will need are a few bath tea bags. You can either buy them or make them yourself. I prefer the muslin drawstring type. You can opt to use that type or those that are sewn at the top. (I’m way too lazy to go to the work of top-sewing my bath bags.)

You can make the bath super simple by adding milk and honey directly to your bath in the proportion of 1 cup of milk to 1 ounce of honey thoroughly mixed in hot water.

For a more luxurious bath tea give the following recipe a try:

1½ cups powdered milk

½ cup Epsom salt

1/8 cup baking soda

1/8 cup cornstarch

1 cup dried lavender

1 cup oatmeal (Either buy the quick or instant variety)

1½ ounces of dried honey (that’s just a tad more than 1/8 cup)

Mix all the ingredients together and add to bath bags or store in sealed container until ready to use. Add about two ounces of dry mixture to your bath bag. This will make about 13 bags.
