Massage Oil to Heal Your Skin

We already know a massage can totally lift stress right out of your body, but why not make the oil used for your massage do double duty. Why not use the massage oil to heal your skin? If you have acne, eczema, psoriasis, bruising or irritated skin, whip up this easy massage oil and instruct your masseuse to use it.

Skin Healing Massage Oil Recipe


Ingredients:

1 tbsp 1 tsp Jojoba Oil (cold pressed)

1 tbsp 1 tsp Apricot kernel oil

1 tbsp 1 tsp Borage Oil

3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

3 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

3 drops Geranium Essential Oil

Instructions:

NOTE: Make your massage oil two or three days before the planned massage.

Place ingredients into an amber or cobalt bottle large enough to hold the oil. Cap the bottle and mix ingredients by gently shaking.

After 24 hours, uncap bottle and give it the sniff test. If the fragrance is too strong for your taste, add 1 to 1.5 tablespoons (15 to 22ml) more carrier oil. Again shake gently.
