Shampoo Recipe for Dry Frizzy Hair

If you’re one of our goddesses with dry frizzy hair, this recipe is for you. Each ingredient is chosen to give your hair that wonderful soft, silky and healthy feel. The aloe gel is very good for your scalp and glycerin will help keep your hair moisturized. Jojoba oil penetrates into your scalp and nourishes the cells. French lavender, rosemary, and geranium have multiple functions; the most important being they are very good for your skin and will stimulate the oil glands in your scalp to produce more oil. In addition, lavender and geranium oils are stress relievers. Why put a stress reliever in your shampoo? Because stress is one cause of dry frizzy hair.

Instructions for maximum benefit of this dry frizzy hair shampoo

Mix all ingredients in a glass or stainless steel container then pour into a bottle. Shake before use to remix ingredients as they do tend to separate.

When you wash your hair, do so in warm water, not hot. After you have washed your hair and used an optional moisturizing rinse, do a final rinse with cold water. For maximum benefit, allow your hair to air dry rather than use a hair dryer.

  1. Hello beautiful goddess,

Double check the quantities in your recipe and be sure and rinse well. If your measurements are okay, try adding 1/4 cup water to the mix (a 50/50 dilution). Some folks do have trouble with castile and it’s sometimes because soap scum is left in their hair. Follow the shampoo with an acv rinse. That should take care of the problem.

    1. When you say your hair sticks out, do you mean it’s dry? Are you talking about static electricity? My hair will do that occasionally when I brush it particularly on very dry days.
